  • Keller ISD serves a diverse and fast growing community, and while keeping pace with the ever-changing landscape the district holds true to its history of excellence.

  • The District serves more than 34,000 students in portions of the cities of Colleyville, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Watauga, and Westlake and the entire City of Keller. Its 51 square miles encompass the third-largest land area in Tarrant County.

  • Keller ISD employs more than 3,800 staff members including just over 2,700 classroom instructional employees. Everything Keller ISD employees do is focused on providing an exceptional educational experience for students whether it be teaching in the classroom, maintaining the facilities our students use, or offering support and guidance for students and staff alike.

MISSION STATEMENT

As your school counselor, my mission is to engage and encourage students and staff every day through meaningful work in guidance, student assistance and career counseling in a safe and caring environment.

PROGRAM GOALS

Implement a comprehensive developmental guidance counseling program that facilitates the success of ALL students in a unified system in a way that:

  • establishes a diversified team approach to facilitate student success by providing guidance counseling services within the four recommended components: guidance curriculum, individual planning, responsive services and support services;

  • implement prioritized vertically aligned guidance strands in grades PK-12 in the areas of academic success, personal and social development and career and college guidance
